1.“Basaltovye Technologii” (Basalt Technologies) Company is funding the research work. Over a period of six years research, we have obtained the substitute for platinum bushing plate for production of continuous basaltic fiber (Roving). This implementation allowed solving two major problems: a considerable reduction of production costs and the specifics of working with bushing plates made of platinum.

2. We have developed the new friction material for the production of car brake pads on the basis of basalt. Also we conduct research for the purpose to create brake blocks based on basalt for railway rolling stock. The current types of brake pads contain lead, graphite, antimony, etc. When using them (stop) the release into the atmosphere of those dangerous to human health and environmental substances. Especially citizens of huge cities are suffering of such hazards. Our composition of friction coupling completely eliminates this ecological problem.
